About the Project

Single Quiver / EnelPico combined a commercial surf retail site with an editorial arm: the e-commerce store listed technical surf equipment (boards, fins, neoprenes, skate gear), while EnelPico produced reviews, buyer guides and news to attract enthusiasts and inform purchase decisions. The platform leveraged social media and video to amplify reviews and drive traffic; it also integrated logistics/tracking and local demo/contact flows to support regional customers across Europe. The editorial content and product catalog worked together to convert readers into buyers and to support community engagement.

Challenges in Development

Content → Commerce conversion

Turning editorial readers into paying customers demanded seamless UX from article → product page → checkout and trust signals to overcome high-consideration purchase friction.

Logistics & regional fulfilment

Shipping bulky surfboards and controls for EU cross-border rules, returns and tracking required integration with carriers and post-purchase visibility.

Platform maintenance & availability

The editorial subsite showed maintenance mode at times, indicating the need for robust deployment and content-ops processes to avoid downtime.

Solutions: Our software agency provided

We standardized product data and added guided selectors and comparison UIs so customers could choose surf gear with confidence. We converted editorial traffic by embedding contextual product bundles, fast compare flows and review-to-cart experiences that shortened purchase journeys. We integrated carrier tracking and returns tooling to improve post-purchase visibility and reduce support tickets. Finally, we hardened the deployment pipeline and synchronized editorial/product content to keep the brand consistent across web, social and local touchpoints.

Technologies We Use in This Project

The solution improved user engagement, and a pilot adoption rate exceeding expectations.

Results & Business Impact — Commerce & Engagement Outcomes

Product-spec and comparison improvements reduced pre-purchase support requests and increased add-to-cart conversion for high-consideration items. Review-driven landing pages and contextual bundles lifted conversion rates by shortening the path from article to checkout. Post-purchase tracking and logistics integrations cut WISMO (where-is-my-order) tickets and improved NPS/CSAT for cross-border shipments. Better release controls and content sync reduced downtime and preserved organic search traffic, stabilizing monthly sessions and revenue.
