About the Project

Bookinglayer is built as a modular SaaS platform for operators who sell experiences that combine accommodation and scheduled activities. The product exposes a public booking widget and APIs for embedding on operator websites, a Backoffice where staff manage reservations/availability/pricing/daily operations, and a Customer Portal that reduces back-and-forth with guests. Advanced automation (emails, SMS, digital waivers), partner/agent logins, channel management, and a focused onboarding/support process are positioned to help niche travel operators scale without building bespoke booking infrastructure.

Challenges in Developing this Platform

Complex inventory modeling

Representing packages that combine dates, rooms/beds, timed activities, and limited-capacity resources in a single availability model.

Avoiding double-bookings & race conditions

Real-time availability checks, atomic booking transactions and distributed locking are required when bookings arrive from multiple channels.

Multi-currency/localization & payment compliance

Handling conversions, localized UX, tax rules and PCI-compliant payment flows across markets.

Solution: Creating an Advanced Genetic Application for Accurate DNA Analysis

We implement robust, idempotent booking engines and normalized inventory models that prevent double bookings and support complex packages (rooms, activities, transfers). We integrate secure payment flows, multi-currency pricing and tax rules while adding retryable webhooks and SDKs so partners can integrate reliably. We deliver headless customer portals and simplified Backoffice experiences, plus automation for emails/SMS and digital waivers to reduce manual workload.
